The club hosts quarterly coloured belt gradings for eligible members and these usually take place in March, June, September and December each year.
The club has an external grading examiner who is the former world champion Sensei Frank Brennan 8th dan. He is also the leader of the KUGB’s technical committee. You can read about him on the link below:
KUGB grading rules require a minimum of three months between gradings and a training frequency of at least twice per week on average. If you choose to train on a less frequent recreational basis you will not be eligible to take KUGB gradings.
