How Often Do I Train?

The path to progress and development is paved with regularity! The more often you practice the faster your karate skills will improve.

Training occasionally is unlikely to result in the rewards you are looking for but there is no minimum requirement for recreational practice.

However those wishing to be formally assessed under the auspices of the KUGB are subject to a grading eligibility requirement. This is a training frequency of (on average) twice per week over the minimum prescribed timeframe between gradings which is 3 months for coloured belts.
