Rob Manning 6th Dan is the vice chairman of the KUGB and a member of the national executive committee. He is a qualified karate instructor, assessor and serves on the KUGB’s safeguarding committee. He established the South Notts Shotokan Karate Club in 1985 at the age of 20 and devotes his time to developing the club. He attends specialist courses in areas such as first aid and coaching and regularly trains on advanced karate courses in order to maintain a high standard of tuition at the club. He is enormously proud of the achievements of club members many of whom have enjoyed success in competitions, achieved high dan grades and been selected for the regional and national squads.
