5 katas; 5 kilometers 2010!
This year’s 5k5k charity event will take place on Saturday 18th September at 10am. The event has raised a considerable amount in previous years and I hope that this year will be no exception. For those new to the event you will be performing 5 consecutive katas, then immediately running 5 kilometers around the Holme Pierrepont rowing lake! A well-deserved certificate will be awarded to all who take part.
The money we raise will go to two very worthy causes: Spinal Research and The Nottingham Breast Institute. Spinal Research was founded in 1980 and is now one of the leading international charitable organisations in the field of spinal cord injury research. The Nottingham Breast Institute provides all outpatients’ services for those requiring diagnosis or receiving treatment for breast cancer in the Nottingham area. It is also the home of the Breast Education Centre which specialises in breast cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and research.
